A La Cygne, Kansas woman was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Manhattan.

Riley County Police say officers responded around 2:28 p.m. Dec. 6 to the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Griffith Drive. A 2023 Nissan Pathfinder driven by 36-year-old Stevie Allen of Bennington struck a 2016 Jeep Renegade driven by 32-year-old Alani Lanning of La Cygne.

Lanning was transported by ambulance to Via Christi Hospital with minor injuries.

Allen was cited for failure to yield the right of way, according to police.
