A South Dakota woman was taken into custody Saturday evening on a Riley County District Court warrant involving numerous charges linked to a case reported earlier this year.

Riley County Police say 25-year-old Summer Carlson of Aberdeen, South Dakota, was arrested around 5:40 p.m. Dec. 20 in the 1001 block of South Seth Child Road. The warrant includes seven counts each of harassment by telecom device, interference with a law enforcement officer, criminal false communication and criminal threat, along with one count of stalking.

The charges stem from an initial report filed on July 3, 2025.

Carlson was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
