    RCPD investigating $10K vehicle burglary reported Sunday

    The Riley County Police Department is investigating a reported vehicle burglary Sunday afternoon in Manhattan.

    Officers filed the report around 2:53 p.m. Dec. 14 in the 1100 block of Meadowbrook Lane. A 38-year-old woman told police an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle and stole various children’s clothing items, boots and a diamond ring. The total estimated loss is $10,000.

    Anyone with information about a crime can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
