Officers responded to an unattended death at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2025 in the 1500 block of Oxford Place. A 41-year-old man was found with what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At this time, we have no reason to believe there was any other party involved in the man’s death.
Officers filed a report of theft of property of services and forgery at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Dec. 18 in the 1600 block of Charles Place. Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center was listed as the victim when it was reported that two business checks were stolen and cashed by unknown suspects. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $7,756.42.
