Manfred Elocka Ngom, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:23 p.m. on Dec. 29 on a Riley County District Court warrant for 10 counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count of contributing to child misconduct and one count of furnishing alcohol or cereal malt beverage to a minor in Manhattan. This arrest stems from a report filed Oct. 4, 2025. Elocka Ngom was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Maxzimas Lightfoot, 20, of Kansas City (Kan.), was arrested on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. This arrest stems from original charges of battery, resisting arrest or obstruction of an officer’s duties. Lightfoot was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for vehicle theft in the 2600 block of Bellerive Dr. at approximately 10:33 a.m. on Dec. 29. UHAUL was listed as the victim when it was reported a known suspect did not return a 2025 Ford cargo van. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $42,000.
