    Manhattan Community Health Foundation names Mary Lindquist and family as recipients of inaugural Cornerstone award

    The Manhattan Community Health Foundation’s board of directors announced last week the recipients of their inaugural Cornerstone of Community Health award.

    Mary Lindquist and family will be recognized for the honor at the foundation’s gala Feb. 21 at the K-State Alumni Center.

    The cornerstone award recognizes individuals or families who demonstrate impactful leadership through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to health equity. Chris Spooner, foundation director, said Lindquist, a dedicated community member and graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Kansas Medical Center, was a profound source of inspiration to the Manhattan community throughout her life.
