A Junction City woman was injured late Sunday night in a crash on the county line between Dickinson and Geary counties.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 70-year-old Colleen Taylor was traveling northbound on Union Road, when her vehicle crossed the roadway, near North Dietrich and Kansas Highway 244. The vehicle then entered a ditch and collided with a line of trees.

Taylor sustained serious injuries. The crash report indicated she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Geary County Sheriff’s Office said Taylor was transported by Life Star helicopter to KU Medical Center.
