    Officers filed a report of domestic battery, theft of property of services and two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer at approximately 8:32 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2026 in Manhattan. Victims included a 37-year-old man and two 30-year-old men. Officers also filed a report of three counts of criminal threat and one count of violating a protection order at approximately 8:17 a.m. in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. Officers filed a report of attempted criminal damage to property at approximately 5:42 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. The Riley County Police Department was listed as the victim in this case. Shante Solton, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested on Feb. 11 for three counts of criminal threat, two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer and one count each for theft of property of services, domestic battery, violation of a protection order and attempted criminal damage to property. Solton was issued a total bond of $28,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of fraud at approximately 7:33 p.m. on Feb. 11 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. A 21-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported he made a down payment to a known suspect for a vehicle being sold on Facebook Marketplace, but never received the vehicle. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,000.

    Aaron Renshaw, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:33 p.m. on Feb. 11 in the 1000 block of Sunset Avenue on a Geary County District Court warrant for violating the offender registration act. Renshaw was issued a total bond of $25,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
