Janet McCoy, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:33 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on an Ellis County District Court warrant for failure to appear. McCoy was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of fraud at approximately 4:04 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the 700 block of Highland Ridge Drive. A 38-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took out student loans in her name. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $9,914.

Micah Dunn, 39, of Wichita, was arrested at approximately 2:01 p.m. on Feb. 23 near Stone Valley Drive and Stone Valley Landing for criminal threat and violating a Riley County District Court protective order. This arrest stems from a report filed in January 2026. Dunn was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

Officers filed a report of larceny at approximately 1:54 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the 100 block of Bluemont Ave. A 76-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect conducted a telephone scam involving money transfers. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $3,503.74.

LaMichael Fewell, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the 800 block of Yuma on a Riley County District Court warrant and a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation and parole violation. This arrest stems from original charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Fewell was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
