RCPD Report: 2/26/26

Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 4:16 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2026 near Northfield Road and Tuttle Creek Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found a 2017 Ford F-250 driven by Christopher Bunnel, 43, of Manhattan, had wrecked with a 2016 Ford Edge driven by Renee Novak, 51, of Manhattan. Jerome Novak, 51, of Manhattan, was listed as a passenger in the Ford Edge. Bunnel was issued a citation for failing to yield at a stop sign and Renee Novak was issued a citation for no liability insurance. Jerome Novak was transported to Via Christi Hospital by Riley County EMS for minor injuries.

Joseph Fabre, 61, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12:58 p.m. on Feb. 25 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of distribution of methamphetamine withing 1000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute/manufacture/plant/cultivate, possession of Zolpidem and use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia in the human body. Fabre was issued a total bond of $100,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Treytan Sellers, 20, of Ogden, was arrested at approximately 12:03 p.m. on Feb. 25 for two counts of domestic battery, and one count each for attempted aggravated domestic battery, criminal threat, assault and criminal restraint in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. This arrest stems from a report filed in November 2025 when a 21-year-old woman was listed as the victim. Sellers was issued a total bond of $25,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
