Officers filed a report of aggravated assault at approximately 11:36 p.m. on March 18, 2026 in the 2100 block of Green Avenue. A 21-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a known 67-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Richard Martin, 67, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:44 a.m. on March 19 for aggravated assault. Martin was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Jessica Urbina, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:24 p.m. on March 18 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Geary County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Urbina was issued a $250,000 bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Dakeal Allen, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:18 p.m. on March 18 in the 1800 block of Todd Road on a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation. Allen was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
