Officers filed a report of vehicle theft at approximately 10:26 a.m. on March 22, 2026 in the 700 block of Pebblebrook Circle. A 26-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his 2018 Kia Soul. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $10,200. The vehicle was later recovered. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property and attempted theft of property or services at approximately 9:23 a.m. on March 21 in the 3000 block of Kimball Avenue. A 25-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into her 2018 Kia Optima and damaged the steering column in an attempt to steal the vehicle. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of attempted vehicle theft, criminal damage to property and burglary at approximately 5:13 p.m. on March 21 in the 3000 block of James Avenue. A 32-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into and damaged the steering column and attempted to steal his 2016 Hyundai Elantra. Officers filed a report of a vehicle theft, criminal damage to property and burglary at approximately 6:38 p.m. on March 21 in the 2700 block of Vinewood Place. A 63-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole her 2018 Kia Soul. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $6,000. A 20-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his 2020 Kia Optima was stolen. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $9,000. A 35-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his gray 2018 Nissan Altima. The total loss associated with this case is $8,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000

Officers filed a report of vehicle theft at approximately 8:53 a.m. on March 20 in the 400 block of Walters Drive. A 25-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into her 2019 Kia Forte and damaged the steering column while attempting to steal the vehicle. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,000.
