RCPD Report: 4/13/26

Zachery Ryan Burch, 37, of Olathe, was arrested at approximately 9:05 p.m. on April 12, 2026 on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. This arrest stems from an original charge of interference with a law enforcement officer. Burch was issued a total bond of $12,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery at approximately 3:57 a.m. on April 11 in Manhattan. A 32-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a known 33-year-old man was listed as the suspect. DeVanta DeShaun Walker, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8:40 a.m. on April 11 for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery. Walker was issued a total bond of $7,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property at approximately 7:40 a.m. on April 10 in the 1300 block of Laramie Street. City of Manhattan Parks and Rec was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown individual did burnouts in the parking garage and damaged the fire suppression system. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,000.
