The Artemis II astronauts said they hope one day some artifact from their mission will be part of the Cosmosphere space museum in Hutchinson.

U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) joined a live call Thursday with NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen.

“On Monday, Administrator Isaacman and I visited the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas,” Moran said. “Commander, it’s the place you told me was the ‘best space museum in the world.’ I’ve repeated that many times. I’d like to extend an invitation to each of you to come visit us in Hutchinson and be my guest. But I also want you to tell me how you can see the Artemis II mission, as well as the Cosmosphere, inspiring the next generation for the well-being of the world.”
