Close to 30 Riley County firefighters responded to a fire at Fox Creek Farm early Sunday morning. Riley County Fire Chief Pat Collins tells KMAN the large barn was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived at 12:45 a.m. The two horses that were reportedly in the barn were let out before firefighters arrived. There were no injuries. Collins is still waiting on more detailed estimates of damage, but indicated at least a couple hundred thousand dollars of damage is involved to the fiber-covered structure, with equipment and other property in the barn.
