After two straight early mornings, the Wildcat Nation will get an evening contest next Saturday. On Sunday morning, the Big 12 Conference announced that the Wildcats’ home game with Oklahoma State has been selected for broadcast by ABC, and will kickoff at 7:00pm from Bill Snyder Family Stadium. A masked man, who brandished a handgun and stole a vehicle, was arrested by Riley County Police Saturday evening. Riley County Police arrested a Manhattan man for aggravated robbery after an incident in the 600 block of North 3rd Place.  Benjamin Abrams (33) was arrested around 8:45 that evening, while in the 2300 block of Fort Riley Boulevard.  This arrest came after officers conducted a high risk traffic stop on a 1992 Ford F-150 truck, which was reported as stolen by Virgil Koppenheffer Jr (34) of Pottawatomie County. Officers with the Riley County Police Department on patrol in the Aggieville Business District during the early Sunday morning hours arrested Travis Allen, 36, of Junction City for aggravated assault, interference with law enforcement, felon in possession of a firearm, and criminal carrying of a weapon. At approximately 1:45 AM, officers responded to a complaint of a fight in an alleyway in the 1200 block of Moro Street. KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) A federal judge has spurned an effort by a heterosexual couple to intervene in a lawsuit challenging the Kansas ban on gay marriage. U.S. District Judge Daniel Crabtree ruled Friday that Phillip and Sandra Unruh of Harper have no legal right to join the lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Kansas.
