Update 3:30 p.m. Tuesday: Ogden Elementary School has received the “all clear” order and has resumed normal function. ### Riley County Police PIO Mat Droge indicates police arrived in Ogden for an isolated complaint of sexual assault between two people known to each other. No arrests have been made at this time. K-State’s Ross Kivett was named to the All-Big 12 second team as a utility player, and Tanner DeVinny was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman team, the league announced today. It’s the second year in a row that Kivett has been honored by the league, after winning Big 12 Player of the Year in 2013. This season Kivett hit .333 with four home runs and 33 runs batted in while starting all 55 of K-State’s games. He led the Big 12 in stolen bases in league games (12), and was tied for tenth in hits (28) and runs scored (15).…

The Manhattan Fire Department has been conducting hazardous materials training with the Kansas National Guard 73 Civil Support Team.  This training, which is scheduled for May 19th, 20th, and 21st, will be held on the Kansas State University campus-east of Bill Snyder Family Stadium for the last day of training.   The department’s hazardous material team provides response within the city limits, but also serves as a regional response team for the state of Kansas.  The team consists of nationally accredited hazardous materials technicians and operations support personnel, who are equipped to enter the area immediately surrounding the hazardous material in order…

(AP) A National Transportation Safety Board details how a small plane carrying a Junction City businessman, his wife and their four children plunged to the ground after parts of both wings and the horizontal stabilizer broke off in mid-air.
