The 6-foot-7-inch Harris averaged 17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a junior during the 2012-13 season at Sandburg High School. According to Rivals.com, Harris is the #80 player in the 2014 recruiting class. He originally committed to Marquette, but re-opened his recruitment when head coach Buzz Williams took the job at Virigina Tech. Kansas State’s Football program reached another milestone Saturday when for the 21st consecutive year one of their players was selected in the National Football League Draft. Offensive Tackle Tavon Rooks was picked 26th in the sixth round (No. 202 Overall) by the New Orleans Saints.
