Senior quarterback Carter Aslin enters his second year as the Indians’ QB1. The dual-threat went 71-of-122 through the air for 908 yards and eight touchdowns. UT-Martin was picked to win the Ohio Valley Conference in their preseason poll and was unofficially No. 27 in the FCS Preseason Coaches Poll. Quarterback Kinkead Dent, who is in his second year at UT-Martin after having spent his first four seasons at Ole Miss as a backup, threw for 2,295 yards, 25 touchdowns, and eight interceptions last season. Officers filed a report of vehicular burglary in the 2800 block of Allison Ave on August 29, 2024, at approximately 9:57 AM. Officers listed a 45-year-old woman and Chase Bank as the victims when it was reported her car was broken into while she was inside and her bank card was taken by an unknown subject. The Riley County commission on Thursday agreed to rezone a property north of Manhattan to allow a landscaping business to move onto it. Done Right Landscaping LLC will take over the plot at 6621 Tuttle Creek Boulevard after commissioners approved the request to rezone it from single-unit residential to a planned-unit development. Justin Brock, the owner of Done Right Landscaping, said the rezoning would combine his residence and business and make getting to the job site more efficent. by Emma Loura A group of volunteers on Tuesday afternoon collected litter into trash bags along Linear Trail and the Kansas River. Friends of the Kaw, a nonprofit organization, organizes monthly cleanups during spring, summer and fall in communities between Kansas City and Junction City where the river flows.
