The Geminid meteor shower, an annual astronomical event that occurs during late November to mid-December, is predicted to peak tonight and tomorrow night in the United States. The shower, named for their radiant, or their point of origin in the sky, appears to come from the constellation Gemini which can be found rising tonight from the northeast. (K-State Sports) – For the first time in her career, senior Aliyah Carter received All-America recognition, as the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its All-America squads Wednesday. Carter was tabbed honorable mention to become the first Wildcat to earn an All-America honor since 2018 with Sarah Dixon, Gloria Mutiri, and Kylee Zumach, and first under head coach Jason Mansfield. The K-State football team picked up its second major commitment in 24 hours yesterday as four-star wide receiver Trae Davis announced his plans to attend the school. Davis was originally committed to Washington State but pulled back on that as K-State’s interest warmed. The senior wide receiver is Troup High School’s single game, season and career record-holder in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns and return yards.
