It is the first time in his career Howard has earned the weekly honor from the award that recognizes the top quarterback in college football. The annual Wamego Invitational cross country meet Saturday saw the host boys finish fourth in the 4A race while Rock Creek placed 10th as a squad in a race won by Southeast of Saline. A dedication presentation was held on Ahearn Memorial Field for the Tracz Family band Hall Friday afternoon. Director of Bands, Dr. Frank Tracz (Trace) says that he is excited for the K-State Marching Band to have their own space. The presentation on Friday included a short performance by the K-State Marching Band and brief speeches from Head Drum Major Audrey Farrell and Dr. Tracz. Tracz also says he is grateful for the support from generous donors, and that the band hall would not have been possible without them.
