The K-State football team picked up its second major commitment in 24 hours yesterday as four-star wide receiver Trae Davis announced his plans to attend the school. Davis was originally committed to Washington State but pulled back on that as K-State’s interest warmed. The senior wide receiver is Troup High School’s single game, season and career record-holder in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns and return yards. Days after he was removed from K-State’s mens basketball program, Nae’Qwan Tomlin will take advantage of his remaining eligibility and play at Memphis. The graduate transfer told On3 that he has committed to join the Tigers at the start of next semester. (K-State Sports) – K-State middle blocker Sydney Bolding became the program’s first-ever draft pick Monday afternoon, as she was selected 11th overall by the Grand Rapids Rise in the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation draft.
