TORONTO (AP) — The Royals will be without 10 of the 26 players on their active roster for their upcoming trip to Toronto due to Canadian restrictions on travelers who aren’t vaccinated against COVID-19. Manager Mike Matheny said Wednesday the club will be without hitters Andrew Benintendi, Hunter Dozier, Cam Gallagher, Kyle Isbel, MJ Melendez, Whit Merrifield and Michael A. Riley County first responders started three-day-long training exercises yesterday (Tuesday) to help improve response times and interagency coordination in the event of an active violence scenario. Fort Riley and the 1st Infantry Division bid farewell to its outgoing Garrison Commander, and welcomed a new successor. A change of command ceremony for the two colonels took place Tuesday. Colonel William McKannay reflected on his time at Fort Riley, which began in 2020.
