After entering the NCAA transfer portal in April, the rising senior has withdrawn his name and will return to Kansas State for the 2025-26 season, the team announced Sunday. The RCPD is investigating two separate thefts reported over the weekend involving a stolen motorcycle and an electric bicycle, with combined losses totaling more than $8,000. The first incident occurred on the morning of July 18th in the 900 block of Moro Street. Officers filed a report for theft after a 21-year-old man reported that his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle had been taken by an unknown suspect. A Manhattan man was arrested Friday night after allegedly fleeing from police, crashing a vehicle, and leaving the scene with three young children inside. Police say 23-year-old Mason Moon was operating a vehicle while intoxicated when he attempted to flee from officers. He later crashed the vehicle and fled the scene. A 2-year-old girl and two 1-year-old boys were in the vehicle at the time of the wreck. Moon was arrested on three counts of aggravated battery, three counts of aggravated endangering a child, as well as the aforementioned driving offenses. He was issued a total bond of $50,000 and…
Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary and violation of a protection order in Ogden on July 17, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m. A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 29-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Keith Rea, 29, of Junction City, KS was arrested for violation of a protection order and aggravated burglary. While the court saw the merit of Prairiewood Holding’s appeal, their final opinion upholds Judge Grant Bannister’s decision. Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries Sunday after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on U.S. Highway 24 west of U.S. 59. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11 a.m. when 56-year-old Dwight O. Mewes of Ogden was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson westbound on U.S. 24. Mewes reportedly braked for a vehicle in front of him, lost control of the motorcycle, and slid into an eastbound Nissan Frontier. Mewes was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka with suspected serious injuries.…
