The Starbucks on Bluemont and Manhattan Avenue permanently closed its doors Saturday. Riley County Police arrested two women early Sunday following a domestic disturbance that involved multiple charges. Officers filed the report Sept. 28 around 3:58 a.m. in Ogden, listing a 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman as both suspects and victims. Janaya Scott, 21, of Ogden, was arrested later that morning at 7:04 a.m. on a charge of criminal damage to property. She was given a $2,000 bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail. Riley County Police are investigating a criminal damage to property case after several vehicles were reported egged early Sunday in Manhattan. Officers filed the report Sept. 28 around 2:14 a.m. in the 1000 block of Sunset Avenue. Police said three 18-year-old men were listed as victims after their vehicles — a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2017 Ford Edge, and a 2024 Volkswagen Jetta — were damaged. A Manhattan man was arrested early Saturday after police responded to a report of sexual battery. Riley County Police said officers were called to the 300 block of Poyntz Avenue around 12:43 a.m. Sept. 27. The report listed two counts of sexual battery and one count of interference with a law enforcement officer. Bryan Mosley, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested about 13 minutes later on the listed charges. A Junction City woman was injured Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash at Westwood Road and Fort Riley Boulevard, according to the Riley County Police Department. Officers responded to the collision Sept. 26 around 5:27 p.m. Police said a Mazda RX-8 driven by Andrew Depuy, 28, of Manhattan, collided with a Toyota RAV4 driven by Jeremy Riley, 44, of Junction City. A passenger in the Toyota, Jessica Riley, 38, of Junction City, was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Nine people were arrested in Riley County between Saturday and early Sunday morning, according to the Riley County Police Department. Among those arrested was 36-year-old Emoni Marquise Ruffins of Junction City, charged with criminal discharge of a firearm after an incident in the 1100 block of Moro Street.
