Riley County District Court judge Grant Bannister sentenced Nathan Terpstra, 32, with a maximum total time to serve of 10 years and two months, with lifetime post-release supervision. Another Manhattan teenager has been arrested in connection to an April armed robbery. Riley County Police on Monday charged 17-year-old Kamryn Machor with aggravated robbery. The charge stems from an April 11 incident in the 1500 block of Pipher Lane where a 16-year-old boy claims he was robbed at gunpoint. Two other teens were arrested last week in connection to that incident. Police say a 17-year-old boy is also believed to have been involved, but so far no charges have been filed against him. RCPD is continuing to investigate.

The RCPD are investigating a series of thefts reported across Manhattan on June 9, 2025, involving stolen vehicles, construction equipment, and tools. The first incident was reported at approximately 7:48 a.m. in the 500 block of Pilsbury Drive, where Energy Center Manhattan Pool reported a dump trailer stolen. The estimated value of the trailer was $18,000. Fortunately, the trailer was recovered later that evening around 8:05 p.m. in Jackson County, Missouri. Sonya Williams, 27, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated endangering a child.
