A Manhattan woman says she was attacked by two dogs while she was walking her small terrier around Garden Way on Tuesday morning.
Sandra Pike is headed to the hospital after she says she was attacked by two pit bull terriers as she rounded a corner in the rear of several apartments. Pike says she just stood still, and called for the owners to come get the dogs off of her. City officials say they will investigate, and the case will begin to go through the standard legal process. A Riley County police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, on the scene says he couldn’t offer a comment as the investigation is still ongoing.
