MANHATTAN — Recent food collection efforts for the Flint Hills Breadbasket have brought in a ton, literally, of donations.
The Breadbasket held a Fill the Ambulance event over the past two Saturdays in conjunction with Riley County EMS officials. In addition, food was collected during the Mayor’s Lighted Parade held Dec. 7 in Manhattan. Executive Director Maribeth Kieffer spoke with KMAN on just how much food was collected during this past weekend.
