    Friday’s In Focus featured a full slate of guests, including Riley County Extension Horticulture Agent Gregg Eyestone, Manhattan Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Karen Hibbard, City of Riley Mayor Tim Sharp as well as Riley County Health Department Director Julie Gibbs and Flint Hills Wellness Coalition Chair Deb Nuss.

    Eyestone talked upcoming Extension activities around the region and Spring yard maintenance. Hibbard joined the program to recap the Oh Manhattan Road Show on Thursday and discuss the importance of the city’s meeting infrastructure. Sharp discussed the latest around Riley, from current sewer work to the upcoming city-wide cleanup. The program concluded with Gibbs and Nuss discussing the 2022 Riley County Community Health Improvement Plan, which has numerous meetings planned in the next weeks including one in Spanish planned Friday, April 1, on Zoom.

    Coming up Monday on In Focus, KMAN will speak with representatives from the Manhattan Parks and Recreation Department as well as the Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency, known for its ATA bus program.
