K-State to put on Industrial Hemp Conference

K-State will be putting on the Industrial Hemp Conference at the Sedgwick County Extension Education Center in Wichita on February 4th.

The event will go from 8:30 a.m. til 4 p.m. and will feature officials presenting the latest information on growing hemp in Kansas based on university research trials.

John C. Pair Horticultural Research Center and Olathe Horticulture Research and Extension Center officials will also be part of the conference.

Attendees will be able to learn about insect and disease protection, lab testing opportunities, regulations and growing hemp in high tunnels.

Registration fees are $50 per person for those who sign up by January 28th and $75 per person for those who sign up after this date.
