Lane closure to impact Kimball Ave. traffic Friday

0
By KMAN Staff on January 22, 2021 Local News, Manhattan
C - Little Apple on the Prairie The apple rising out of the hillside symbolizes the city's growth as a land of opportunity, and recognizing Manhattan's nickname as "The Little Apple." The shape of the hillside is a reference to the gently rolling Flint Hills, and the green color represents the wealth of natural resources in the area.

Eastbound traffic along Kimball Ave. will be reduced to one lane Friday east of the Cattle Bridge as construction continues in the area.

The City of Manhattan says Rylie Construction, who is currently working for AT&T, is closing the eastbound lane starting at 9 a.m. and it’s expected the closure will only last one day.

If the work needs to be extended, the city says construction officials will remove all equipment at the end of the work day and re-close the lane at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
