A 2019 Manhattan High graduate graduated from U.S. Air Force basic training.
According to Joint Hometown News Service, Airman Brent P. Wade completed an eight-week training program including instruction in military discipline and studies, the Air Force’s core values as well as basic warfare principles and skills.
Wade was trained at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
As part of his basic training, Wade also received four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
The JHNS reports that Wade is the son of Joy Wade, also of Manhattan.
