The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police.  Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal law as well as in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further.  Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MANHATTAN, KAN. –

Officers filed a report for theft in the 4600 block of Eureka Dr. in Manhattan on March 25, 2020, at approximately 12:40 PM. Officers listed Flint Hills Job Corps as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole miscellanous property from the business. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,500.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft of a motor vehicle in the 5500 block of Skyway Drive in Manhattan on March 25, 2020, at 7:00 PM. Officers listed a 32-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his 2006 Ford Freestyle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
