Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 1300 block of Flint Hills Pl. in Manhattan on June 8, 2018 at approximately 2:20 AM. Officers listed Julieta Alcantara, 30, of Manhattan as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect took her back pack and miscellanous electronics. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $551.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in the 200 block of Linden St. in Ogden on June 9, 2018 at approximately 12:10 PM. Officers listed Tabitha Goulette, 34, of Ogden, as the victim when she reported a known male juvenile injured her.
Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of Anderson Ave. and Garden Way on June 9, 2018 at approximately 10:10 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a silver 2003 Nissan X-Terra driven by Kurtis Meier, 30, of Garden City, Kansas had crashed into a maroon 2008 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Lisa Rettele, 53, of Seneca, Kansas. Meier was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Meier was arrested on offenses of driving under the influence and aggravated battery. Meier was issued a total bond of $11,500.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Sal Tucker, 53, of Ogden, was arrested while in the 200 block of Walnut St. in Ogden on June 9, 2018 at approximately 5:35 PM. Tucker was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Tucker was issued a total bond of $5,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Michael Agnew, 37, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 1000 block of Garden Way in Manhattan on June 7, 2018 at approximately 10:10 AM. Agnew was arrested on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. Agnew was issued no bond causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
