Officers listed a 25-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect damaged the paint on his vehicle. Officers filed a report for theft in the 400 block of Walters Dr. in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM. Officers listed a 67-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known female suspect took her diamond ring. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,200.00.

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Seth Child Rd and Dickens Ave. in Manhattan on September 6, 2019, at approximately 5:00 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2017 Gold Lincoln MKX driven by Delores Thomas, 85, of Manhattan had crashed into a 2011 Silver Chrysler 300 driven by Jaylynn Liggons, 18, of Manhattan. Thomas was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. Thomas was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
