Riley County is reporting 56 new positive COVID-19 cases and 175 recoveries since Monday.
This brings the county’s total number of active cases to 432 and recoveries to 2,597.
The percent positive rate in Riley County for the week of Nov. 8 came in at 18.6 percent, down slightly from the previous week’s rate of 19.2 percent.
Ascension Via Christi Hospital is currently caring for seven COVID-19 positive patients and two persons under investigation (PUI).
One of the PUIs and three of the positive patients are in the intensive care unit.
Riley County currently has nine active outbreaks.
509 people were tested at the free testing event in CiCo Park on Monday. The next free testing event takes place on Thursday in CiCo Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
Pottawatomie County has so far had a cumulative total of 590 COVID-19 positive cases, 24 COVID-19 related hospitalizations and potentially two COVID-19 related deaths.
