Woman found dead in JC, foul play suspected


Junction City police are investigating a suspected murder, according to a Monday press release.

A woman was found dead Friday, June 26, in an empty storage unit in the 2300 block of N. Jackson Street. According to JCPD Investigation Cpt. Trish Giordano, foul play is suspected following an autopsy.

Police are attempting to identify the woman via fingerprint records.
