As K-MAN has been reporting, a 20-year-old Salina man was arrested on a warrant for indecent liberties with a child and solicitation to commit aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Haydyn Best’s bond was set at $100,000. Best was arrested on a warrant from Saline county stemming from a 2015 case.

Alsp as K-MAN has been reporting since Saturday, a Chapman man was arrested in Manhattan on Friday afternoon.
Travis Moreland, 24, was taken into custody on a warrant for aggravated robbery. His bond was set at $50,000. Moreland was arrested on a warrant stemming from December of 2015. Moreland also faces charges in Geary County.

A Riley teenager was arrested on Saturday for a warrant originating in Pottawatomie County. Logan Hardie, 18 was arrested at noon on Saturday. The warrant was for the offense of probation violation. Hardie was given no bond.

Riley county police are investigating the criminal discharge of a firearm in the 1,000 block of Humboldt Street on Sunday morning around 1:30. This report was filed after an unknown suspect fired a gun into the air. Police continue to investigate the matter and ask that anyone with information contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

The Riley County Police Department filed a report for lewd and lascivious behavior on Friday at 8 a.m. for an incident that occurred approximately one hour prior in the 2900 block of Claflin Road in Manhattan. Officers were told that a white male who stood approximately 5 feet 10 inches and weighed approximately 300 pounds exposed himself in public and then began to touch himself inappropriately. This subject was wearing black knee length shorts, blue short sleeve shirt with “NRA” logo on the front. If you have information about this crime contact the Riley County Police Department or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
