    Burglary in Junction City

    On 07/17/11, at about 6:38 am, Junction City Police responded to the Waste Management Office located at 2300 Elmdale Avenue, in Junction City, concerning a reported alarm at that location. Upon arrival, officers found the front door glass of the business had been shattered, and that several vehicles on the property had been entered. Officers were able to obtain video of the person responsible for the burglary and are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the man. The man is believed to be an Hispanic male, in his 20’s, wearing a black t-shirt, light colored plaid shorts, and white tennis shoes. Persons with any information concerning this subject should call Junction City/Geary County Crime Stoppers at 785-762-TIPS or the Junction City Police Department at 785-762-5912. You may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.
