State officials have set out to meet a need for citizens requiring a valid driver’s license.
A quicker option will now be offered to avoid waiting time.
Riley County Treasurer Eileen King announced the details at Today’s county commission meeting.
“There is now an online service where citizens can go and check on the status of their driver’s license,” King says. “You go to the state website www.ksrevenue.org, and click on the lower right hand side link and put it your first name, last name, and your date of birth”
After viewing your current license status, you can also see other information such as your driving record.
For those seeking to have their license reinstated, you can call 785-296-3671. Telephone operators will be available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
