Aggieville businesses joined in the festivities of welcoming back students to Manhattan on Saturday.
The night began with a live concert from the band “Maybe Tomorrow” and belly dancers performing in Triangle Park. Some of the businesses were having deals, Varney’s extended their hours and Varsity Donuts was handing out samples.
The main event, however, was the KSU Marching Band performing on the corner of Manhattan and Moro in front of Varney’s. The band is 390 members strong this year and Saturday night was their first performance of the 2011 – 2012 season.
