Riley County police received a report Tuesday of a Manhattan home that was burglarized earlier this week.

33-year old Greg Peterson of  informed RCPD that two jewelry boxes and a Gibson guitar were taken from his home located at 801 Laramie. The incident occurred on Monday between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Peterson was not at his home during the time of the theft. The back door was also left unsecured during that time.

    The losses totaled $1,500.

RCPD representatives have announced that there are no suspects at this time and that the case is under further investigation.
