    NFL rosters populated by former K-Staters

    16 former Wildcats are on NFL rosters after a league wide trim down to 53 player active rosters.

    Daniel Thomas with the Dolphins is the only K-State rookie to make a roster, but second year pros Jeron Matsrud, also in Miami, Josh Moore in Chicago and Brandon Banks in Washington are also inlcuded.

    Rock Cartwright and Ben Leber both begin their 10th season in the NFL as the longest tenured Cats.
