The Pottawatomie County Sheriff Office is investigating a rural residential burglary that occurred on Thursday, October 20 sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 AM.
The residence is located in the 8700 block of Flint Rock Road in St.George.
The suspect or suspects gained entry by breaking out the glass on a back door. Some items that were taken include firearms, a Nintendo Wii and several Wii games. The total loss including damage to door is estimated at about $2,700.
Several witnesses report seeing a small mid 90’s white or light colored passenger car with loud exhaust leaving the scene. Detectives are particularly interested in locating this car, and are urging anyone who may have seen this vehicle to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 457-3353.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
