    K-State falls to Iowa State without Donahue

    Without starting setter Caitlyn Donahue, the K-State volleyball team battled #16 Iowa State, but fell 27-25, 25-21, and 25-23 to the Cyclones.  Backup setter Ashley Kelican made her first career start, and contributed 31 assists and 8 digs.  Lilla  Porubek led the offense with 11 kills, and Kathleen Ludwig added 10.

    With the loss, K-State drops to 13-5 overall  and 2-2 in the Big 12.  The Cats will play at Texas Tech this Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm.  Coverage on 1350kman.com will begin with the pregame at 12:30 from Lubbock.
