Fire destroyed a two-story house in northern Riley County this (Tuesday) morning. Riley County fire chief Pat Collins tells KMAN the home belonged to Robbie and Lesa Reves, but was unoccupied at the time. The tenant had moved out last week.
Riley County Police are being called in to assist in the investigation, with the cause under investigation. Power and propane were both off to the house, which is located at 16100 Green-Randolph Road, between Randolph and Green.
The fire was called in at 6:10 Tuesday morning, with 30 Riley County firefighters responding. Damage is estimated at $65,000.
