Over 40 Kansas counties affected by severe weather in June — including Riley and Pottawatomie — will receive federal disaster assistance following approval of two disaster declarations requested by Gov. Laura Kelly.
President Donald Trump granted Kelly’s requests for public assistance for storms that affected the state from June 4-15 and June 18-30.
