The Sustainability Partnership was able to grant the Flint Hills Regional Council a two million dollar grant.
Executive Director of the Council Ty Warner explains how the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal level of the Department of Transportation partnered to create this opportunity for the Flint Hills .
Warner continues by attributing the successful attainment of this grant to the 30 partners and the Kansas can – do attitude .
The grant will be given over a three year period and they are working on making a plan on how the money will be spent.
