There is still a position on the Pawnee Mental Health governing board that still needs to be filled.

“Our license with the state of Kansas requires that we have two special board positions,” Executive director Robbin Cole said. “One is for an adult who has a severe and persistent mental illness. The other is for a parent of child with an emotional disturbance.”

At this point in time, the board is looking for the parent to volunteer.

The meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month in Clay Center, Kan., and last for about two hours.

For additional information, contact Pawnee Mental Health Services at (785) 587-4300.
