A residential burglary led to thousands of dollars in damages and losses for a Manhattan man.
On Wednesday, 37-year old Jayson Werner told Riley County police that the theft occurred overnight between November 20 and the 21 at his home located in the 800 block of Greenfield Cir.
After forcibly gaining entry into the house, the suspect caused over $2,000 dollars-worth of damage to Werner’s 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle, while also making off with $2,220 in cash, a Kimber 1911 45-caliber pistol, and bullets.
According to RCPD all items have been recovered with the exception of the 45-caliber bullets.
Captain Richard Fink says police have identified a suspect in the case.
