On Tuesday, Travis Kemph, a Newton man, was critically injured when the cement truck he was driving rolled while making the turn to get on westboung I-70 from K-18.  Kemph was transported by lifeflight to Stormont Vail in Topeka.

Kemph’s family has started a trust account at Capitol Federal Savings in Topeka to help pay for some of the medical expenses.

David Miller, Kemph’s cousin-in-law, has told KMAN that Kemph is still in a coma, though there are postitive signs of brain activity.   They are awaiting a neurosurgeon to examine Kemph.

For anyone who would like to help, you can send donations to Capitol Federal Savings, Attention: Travis Kemph Fund, 700 S. Kansas Ave. Topeka, Kansas  66603 or stop by any Capitol Federal Savings Location.
